Everyone seems to be ready for the cold and snow to be done but we aren’t quite there yet.  Those warm days and freezing nights we need for a successful season need to last us through March.  While the snow is causing some problems with access to trees, Brian has sorted that out for the most part.  We haven’t had any sap for a week and that was only enough to sweeten the pans; not make any syrup.  Today and tomorrow look to give us some sap for collection and see if we can’t get a good start going.

We have restocked many of the specialty products and have maple candy,  maple cream and sugar on hand too.
