We get questions all the time about how fast the sap comes out of the trees when it runs well.  Brian shot this video the day he started tapping and as you can see it was running GREAT!

What happened to the cold?  It didn’t last long.  That’s for sure. Brian has finished tapping so we are just hoping for some great weather.  Still – we have made some syrup and have some sap to boil this weekend.  At least for a while.

This week we  bought our first maple cream machine.  It’s a gem and about as expensive.  But we’ve burnt up so many mixers over the years it was a better investment.  The cream is excellent too.  We made a trial batch the other night.

We’ll be open Saturday and Sunday 12-4pm.  There is candy, cream, syrup, maple tire (taffy), maple cookies, maple BBQ sauce, Maple Popcorn and mustard all available.
